For the past 2 years I have grown my own petunias from seed to go in my bloom master pots. I like the wave petunias as they spread better. The problem is they do not show up here in our garden stores until late May or June. I know that it takes a good bit of daylight hours before they will bloom. If I wait until May it would be tooo hot for them to really get going. Below are some of the ones from last year hanging at the boat dock. The good thing about growing them from seed is you also save a load of money. Today I planted them up and left them outside.... I know I will have to cover them at some point before the last frost date.
