Culinary delights!

Cute little fellers! I only need 1-2 plants to keep us in basil....  I am unsure what about my personality requires me to grow 140 plus basil plants?!  (DO not answer that Mom)  I have cinnamon, lime, small leaf, Genovese, Mammoth, lemon blah, blah, blah.  The trick to growing basil is to just lay them on top of the soil and or barely tap the tray after seeding.  I also do not put more then 2 or 3 seed per cell so I do not have to thin very many.  The bees really like them so I think I will use that as my excuse......
You can see my pigs in the pic as I am standing on a chair.  That is what we call them as I have little ones.

I couldn't sleep last night. So I got up and started seeds: dill, cilantro, basil, chives. In addition,
    parsley,sage,thyme.
Should have gotten rose mary also .

Well Rena, you are a tomato lover aren't you, I know exactly where you should put most of these basil plants: right besides your tomato plants, one basil plant for each one of tomatoes. Did not know the trick? Feelas from the snowpile up north know that it helps the tomatoes taste better, there is companionship at the roots level, and the strong scent of the basil deter many insects.
