It is made of STRAW and the big bad wolf will never blow it down. Not even a cold harsh winter of Colorado is going to harm this abode. I am sooooo very proud of my Dad and his wife. They built it. Hard to imagine, with their own 2 hands. In today's real estate climate and mortgage issues it is wonderful they could do this ON THEIR OWN. It also has solar heating with a solar disk that moves with the sun. I will try to update with more links about that. Isn't it fantastic!! Not quite finished but soon....

I don't know that much about architecture,
Simple, honest, nothing pretentious.
I see a lot of thinking has gone into the design of the overhang.
