Children's Garden Fort

I am probably going overboard on my bout of recycling!  I figured out how to create a new sprinkler zone and so I had these homemade drip lines I had created a few years ago.. pvc pipe.  I kept looking at them trying to think what to do with them as they have holes in them..... It finally came to me.  I would create a tunnel fort with bird netting over the top.  I could grow beans and morning glories over the top of it and it could be a little fort for the kids in the garden.  When I was little I made my own forts but apparently my kids need some help so I made this for them.  Please use your imagination until I can get some beans and flower vines growing over it.  I had a few problems.  Before my engineer friends shred my design plans, I want you to know I was WORKING with what I had.  I had to buy a few pieces of fitting and a little bit of pvc....... My spouse came out to snoopervise.. I say "Hey mark this at 7ft while you are standing there"!  I continue on fitting everything together when I look down at a piece of pipe (it appears to be about 5 ft) I go.. "UH why is this 5ft"?  He shruggs  Louder this time.. "why is this 5ft"?  more shruggs and the far off look.  Ok go inside!  What? he asks?  I go "You need to leave"!  He shruggs and walks away... then mister Plumber pants Matthew decides that he is building a sewer system and continues to steal my pieces and fittings when I am not looking!!  Yes this is him I can move fast with a camera when I have my blog in mind!

Supplies needed

Recycled or new pipe

tape measure

saw

Pvc glue and Primer

fittings

velcro to add the bird netting

bird netting

paint (optional)

I you can look at it and get the general idea.  I won't go into the measurements because I am sure it can be altered anyway you want.  My base is 7ft to give you an idea.  I am also the eyeball type.  Not good for the spouse it makes him nervous.

TA DA!!!  It's DONE!  EASY PEASY!!
