Geocaching

Let me put up a link so that everyone knows what I am talking about....Geocaching
This is something I have been doing with the kids the last year in an effort for them to get out and see nature.  It keeps them focused on "the prize".  It has been called high tech treasure hunting.  It is a whole lot easier finding stuff here in Georgia then I could of imagined in Colorado.  I have hopes of doing some in Colorado this year with the Orlando and California cousins.   It gets your kids moving, you also can cache in and bring trash out (good environment lesson).  Sometimes there is a history about a particular area...   I shop at the dollar store to put stuff in the caches.  The premise is take something leave something (normally).  That is what my kids are up for taking stuff!  Here is a pic of us Caching in Colorado last summer.
It is almost exactly a year since this pic was taken and now Abby's teeth are straight!  I also found out today that my braces are coming off next month!!!  yipppeee  Thank goodness for Orthodontists!!

I happened to have recently watched a documentary on Geocaching. A very fascinating hobby. There are many people involved in this activity. It seems like a very fun hobby as well as a great educational hobby.

I looked into this and was suprised at how many locations there are nearby. I'll have to try it out with my kids. Are braces required for this?
