She made it!!
Well we made a quick (for us) trip to COLORADO. It was a spur of the moment kind of trip. Abby had a clinic in Miami that was canceled. The people said they would let her into the clinic in Colorado. The 10th was my birthday so I was all up for spending time in Colorado on my birthday. Abby had to have the time for the 13 year old age division of 37 seconds for a 300 meter race. Reminder she is just 9 It was cold and there was a strong wind but she DID IT 36.6 . This means she can go to OUTDOOR NATIONALS in the Summer. Here is a pic of her skating on the OLYMPIC banked track. She had 11 coaches for 30 students. Because she was in the Olympic training center she actually got an Olympic athlete training badge. We thought that was pretty darn cool.

I drove over to see my Dad who lives on the other side of the Mountains. I enjoyed dinner with my UBER cool friend Cathy. We had a very pleasant dinner of steak and wine! For my birthday she gifted me with 3 bottles of Colorado wine that I have been savoring in the evenings since I got home. Here is a pic of my Dad working the the walls of the house. I am pretty proud of him!

HERE IS MY PHOTO OP (just for my sister) teee hheeee yes I did a "little" work......

One of the days it was really cold, I decided to go get coffee for all the coaches. I used my gps to find the closest Starbucks.... as I was crossing a street out of the corner of my eye.. I saw the street where we used to live --from birth to about 7. I stopped and took a picture. Here is the house.

My Dad's greenhouse is in full swing, and it was full of tomatoes. I know like father like daughter.
The Aspen leaves were changing... BEAUTIFUL!!! I literally pulled over on the side of the road and took a picture. I was not surprised to see someone behind me do the same.
