Vanilla Beans
So I bought a bunch of vanilla beans???!!! I put more then 12 in a large container of sugar about 4 weeks ago. I am addicted to this yummy vanilla sugar. I have a sugar decanter for my coffee, I slipped a bean down into the sugar. I am researching vanilla extract recipes. I made cookies tonight with the vanilla infused sugar and they smelled delish. I will update a pic of my extract as it brews....

i brought a bunch back from Tahiti when I went and gave them all away...

I also have gotten vanilla beans. I am thinking of putting some in my jar of sun dried cherry tomatoes. This may be a mistake. The tomatoe flavor may overwhelm the vanilla.
But I am going to try it.

I won't step out and say I think that is a bad idea but I am thinkin you might want to sleep on that idea!
