Goodwill confessions
Much to the dismay of my children.. I love goodwill. NO really!!! I LOVE IT. I spend wayyyyy to much time there. It is the books. I LOVE me some books. I tried to love the local library but I was late on some books and they wanted my future 3rd born child. (not really but still) Have you ever been late with books? Holy crap it will cost you a fortune and you get a credit letter. It pretty much scared me away. I feel like the money spent at goodwill I would of spent on late fees at the library. I found a Warrior book for my Niece (love that series). I found 5 or so books on gardening. I found a wonderful book on bread and its history, a book on the Biltmore (I am planning a trip this Spring) children's books galore, textbooks for teaching Science,........ The really cool thing is that I just pack up my old ones and drop them off. If I could just keep driving and not bring some home (laughs)!!!!
So check it out... you may become addicted like me.

You are lucky. I don't have one near my area. We have something similar called Salvation Army Thrift Store. Oh yes, lot's of stuff. Also a place to donate surplus.

The salvation army is in a crack neighborhood. Our goodwill is in a great location. I have never found any good books at our Sarmy but goodwill has a ton!

Back in high school... when I was not responcible in the least.. I borrowed some books from the library. I suppose I forgot about them.. or was distracted for several months because I got my first late bill. It wasn't so rediculous as to scare me into paying immediately. So, I delayed.. until I finished college. No Joke. I did finally turn them in when the library had an amnesty day. lol .. If I ever get rich, I'll have to donate some major cash to that library.
