Not very proud to admit this but I am a Mommy liar.  I know, I know.  I have spoke about this before in other entries.  I told one today and thought I would share it.
We went to a farm today to pick up some eggs for a friend (and Ok some more chickens for me).  Well they had a Dog that was blind in one eye.  The lady DID not tell us why she just said so.  I came home to work on my new chicken coop.  I had a bunch of wire to cut and then I was using a staple gun...... Sigh I confess.  I told a lie, well kinda.  You see Matthew has taken an interest in the staple gun.  I have a fear he will want to try to use it.  I keep telling him it is dangerous but you guys know how little boys can be?  I am thinking that maybe when I am not looking he will try to use it and hurt himself.  SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOo
I told a lie (kinda)
I said you know that dog today?  The one that is BLIND in one EYE???   I bet he went blind because he got a staple in his eye!  I said MAYBE that is what happened to that dog.  He looked at me horrified and has not wanted to mess with the stapler since.
