Conversation between Matthew and myself over breakfast at camp... (last week)

Matthew:  Mom is there really a toothfairy?
Me:  (chewing and thinking what to say)
Matthew:  more persistant - Mom are you the toothfairy?
Me: (thinking still)
Matthew MOM!!!???
Me:  Matthew let me finish chewing and then I can talk.... (gives me time to think)
Matthew:  Well?
Me:  Yes, I am... thinking darn it, if i lie he will never believe me about other stuff.
Matthew:  (shocked)  YOU ARE??  You put that cool lego set under my pillow? 
Me: (thinking darn it my bubble has burst)   YES Matthew I did that.
Matthew:  YOU ARE THE TOOTHFAIRY FOR EVERYONE?  (very shocked and excited)
Me:  SHHHHHHHh be quiet Matthew.  No not for everyone, just for you
Matthew:  Does Abby know?
Me:  I think so Matthew. 
Matthew:  Can I tell her?
Me:  I guess so.
Matthew (yells across the table)  Abby did you know Mom was the toothfairy? 
Abby:  (turns red) SSHHHHHHH she tells him, and nods.

What a silly boy he is!  Today he lost another tooth and before bed he came in and said, "Do you want the tooth under my pillow or on the nightstand, what would be easier for you?"
